July 22-26: Tech & Creative Arts – Middle School: 6th – 8th Grade

Collaboration Camp with I AM ART Company
Tech & Creative Arts camp will allow campers to get inspired from contemporary art to design and create wearable technology using FLORA circuit boards with Arduino and text-based coding. Campers will use electronics, circuits, LEDs, sensors, conductive fabrics, copper tape and other fluorescent materials for crafting e-Textile wearables. Their final project will be worn in a collaboration with campers from I AM ART company. Together, all students will collaborate and utilize their creativity, leadership and communication skills to host a live, choreographed performance.
The Tech & Creative Arts camp presentation and performance will be held on Friday, July 26th at 3:00pm in the IT-oLogy theater on the 1st floor.
Campers and their parents will be amazed what will be accomplished at the end of this exciting, fast paced, hands-on week. Students will leave with new innovative ways to design and collaborate through technology and creative arts.
