TechExplorers is a half day camp for 4-7 year olds full of STEAM activities and crafts. Campers will discover technology through play allowing them to explore tech gadgets like robots, drones, virtual reality, augmented reality and more! Our TechExplorers will also get their hands messy with slimy science, tye dye circuitry and egg engineering. This camp also fosters timeless principles with Covey’s 7 Habits of Happy Kids. All Tech on Deck is all about technology with hands-on STEAM activities, crafting and coding. Campers will learn how to build, program and navigate a variety of electronics including mBots, Lego Mindstorms EV3, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit and Drones. Campers will also explore virtual reality, augmented reality, and circuitry. From building robots, to mini computing, to a drone relay challenge, be sure to join the fun with All Tech on Deck!

Calling all Makers! This camp is all about building, creating, and exploring in the world of science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics. Campers will bring technology to life using arts and crafts to create games, apps and other cool gear. From building a flashlight to creating a hologram viewer, each build in the Makers Tech Lab will engage a different function of the Micro:bit and SparkFun circuitry kits. Makers Tech Lab is the place to be!

Collaboration Camp with I AM ART Company

Tech & Creative Arts camp will allow campers to get inspired from contemporary art to design and create wearable technology using FLORA circuit boards with Arduino and text-based coding. Campers will use electronics, circuits, LEDs, sensors, conductive fabrics, copper tape and other fluorescent materials for crafting e-Textile wearables. Their final project will be worn in a collaboration with campers from I AM ART company. Together, all students will collaborate and utilize their creativity, leadership and communication skills to host a live, choreographed performance.

The Tech & Creative Arts camp presentation and performance will be held on Friday, July 26th at 3:00pm in the IT-oLogy theater on the 1st floor.

Campers and their parents will be amazed what will be accomplished at the end of this exciting, fast paced, hands-on week. Students will leave with new innovative ways to design and collaborate through technology and creative arts.

Tech Gadgets and Gizmos will inspire girls to explore the grand possibilities of technology with hands-on STEAM activities, crafting and coding. Campers will be introduced to a number of cool tech devices and learn how to build, program and navigate robots, drones, and other tech gadgets and gizmos. Campers will also explore virtual reality, augmented reality and circuitry. From creating tye dye tees with e-Textiles to a drone relay challenge, this all girls camp is sure to be TECH-TASTIC!
