Elementary school students discovered their creative side and sparked their imaginations this week! They explored, crafted, hacked and tinkered using electronics, robotics and art materials. A pizza party and parent presentation wrapped up the week!

Middle school students brought robotics projects to life through computer programming! They also had a blast creating their own projects using computer programming and art materials!  Students experienced hands-on projects with mBot robots, with Arduino and Scratch programs.  A pizza party and parent presentation wrapped up the week!

Our middle school students experienced a truly unique camp! They spent the week personalizing and programming music along with creating electronic wearables.  On the last day of camp, dancers from I AM ART choreographed and performed a dance skit using the music and e-textile components created by the students. They had a blast practicing their creativity, critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills while learning how to collaborate with others! A pizza party and parent presentation at the Columbia Museum of Art wrapped up the week!

They learned timeless principles including responsibility, attentive listening, planning ahead, self-confidence, self-discipline, critical thinking, respect for others, teamwork, problem solving, communication, collaboration and life balance. A pizza party wrapped up the week!

Elementary students engaged in virtual reality exploration and game creation activities that brought each virtual journey to life.  With Google Expeditions and the Mattel View-Master VR Viewer, students enjoyed virtual trips - travelling around the world, diving underwater and rocketing into outer space!  They also created applications using Unity, other VR software and gaming applications! A pizza party and parent presentation wrapped up the week!
