Congratulations to Our Winning Teams!

By Jamesetta James

On behalf of IT-oLogy, I want to thank our sponsor, host, volunteers, students, coaches and staff members for making  IT-oLogy Tech League STEAM Competition I a success. We could not have done this without your support, participation and dedication.

Below is a recap of the divisions 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The link to the pictures taken during the event is available here.

The primary goal of the Tech League STEAM competition is to develop student’s critical thinking and problem solving skills through communication, collaboration and teamwork. To assist coaches in developing and fostering these skills, free workshops will be available at IT-oLogy for teams to work on practice challenges. These workshops are in addition to their individual practice sessions. The dates and time for the free workshops are:

  • January 13th, 2018           12:30 pm – 2:30 pm          Practice challenge I
  • February 3rd, 2018           12:30 pm – 2:30 pm          Practice challenge II
  • March 10th, 2018              12:30 pm – 2:30 pm          Practice challenge III
