Rachel Barnett brings more than 25 years of experience in communications to IT-oLogy. She “cut her teeth” in the world of advertising and public relations at the full service agency, Chernoff/Silver (now Chernoff Newman.) From her first position as a young media buyer to senior account executive and special events manager, her work experience has run the communications and marketing gamut.
Previous positions have included Director of Marketing at EdVenture Children’s Museum and Director of Marketing at the College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management at the University of South Carolina where she was on staff when IT-oLogy was first begun. Her commitment and interest in IT-oLogy stems from the planning and implementation of the first Computer Camp held at USC in 2007.
Barnett is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina College of Mass Communications with a BA in Advertising/Public Relations.
