The IT-oLogy Summit on IT is a gathering of educators, industry and government leaders from across the state, who will join together as we address our state’s current IT workforce opportunities and provide practical solutions to ensure a successful future.

“We are excited to be hosting the Summit on Information Technology once again,” stated IT-oLogy president Tammy Mainwaring. “It’s always exciting to bring together industry leaders to discuss all that South Carolina has to offer for the tech sector.”

A special appearance will be made by Miss South Carolina Morgan Nichols.  Using her platform of Women in STEM, Miss Nichols will talk about the importance of women in the STEM workforce and what it has meant to her as a young woman in the field.

Two Keynote speakers, Todd Thibodeaux, President and Chief Executive Officer, CompTIA, and John Uprichard, Chief Executive Officer, FGP International, will discuss the state of the information technology sector from a national and state perspective, respectively. A panel of regional representatives from across South Carolina will address issues, challenges and opportunities related to the technology sector. Topics such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, workforce development and broadband/digital infrastructure will be discussed by industry experts in afternoon breakout sessions.

This is a must-attend event for C-Suite, hiring managers, economic developers, educators, and others who are advancing South Carolina’s economy. A continental breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. and lunch are included in the registration.
