IT-oLogy Joins Forces with SC Department of Education to Provide “Tech-in-a-Box” Summer Enrichment Program for Middle School Students

Columbia, S.C.—(June 21, 2021)—IT-oLogy is now accepting registrations for the second year of its “Tech-in-a-Box” summer enrichment program for middle school students. Funded by the SC Department of Education, the “Tech-in-a-Box” program ensures that summer is a special time for students to experience the excitement of technology learning and exploration. Through this funding, middle school students can participate in this innovative program at no charge to families.

Registration is limited for each camp, so early registration is recommended to secure your child’s position. Students must have a mailing address in South Carolina to register.

Registered students will be mailed a “Tech-in-a-Box” supply kit that serve as the focus of a three-day, instructor-led, online workshop. Students and their parents will also enjoy access to on-demand, digital learning resources that complement the workshop provided by an IT-oLogy instructor. The “Tech-in-a-Box” summer enrichment program will run four weeks in the month of July 2021.

“IT-oLogy is so excited to partner with the SC Department of Education again this year to provide exciting, virtual, instructor-led summer-camp experiences,” said Tammy Mainwaring, President of IT-oLogy, “Thanks to SCDOE, Tech-in-a-Box will be a staple in the summer fun and summer education of over 200 South Carolina students.”

Registration information for the program can be found at www.it-ology.org/events.  For additional information or questions, please call 844-486-5649 (ITO-LOGY).
