Your Opportunity! South Carolina is facing a tremendous shortage of skilled IT professionals. Since technical colleges and universities cannot produce enough qualified candidates with current skills to fill the open jobs in our state, IT-oLogy created the TechTalent program.

TechTalent will help you:

How it works

Early IdentificationEarly Identification

Through the TechTalent Computer Aptitude Test (CAT), you can discover if you have the aptitude and skills for a career in IT.

 

Enhanced IT Education

In partnership with area high schools, the TechTalent program offers computer courses, popular certifications and dual-credit college courses through local technical colleges and universities that are highly sought after in the South Carolina job market.

Local Business Internships

Local Business Internships

Internships provided by local IT businesses will prepare you for the South Carolina workforce upon high school graduation and offer potential for full-time employment with tuition assistance.

Targeted Education

High school courses, dual-credit college courses and sought after industry certifications can be yours through the TechTalent program. Course and certification offerings, based on the IT needs of local businesses, begin in the 10th grade and continue until graduation. Dual-credit courses are offered by local technical colleges and universities, giving you the potential to graduate high school with four or more college credits!

Internships

TechTalent partners with local IT businesses to ensure your courses and certifications meet their needs. Internships allow you to demonstrate your skills and prepare you for potential employment opportunities upon graduation.

To get started, click on the COMPUTER APTITUDE TEST link below. Enter the information required to register and you can then take a Sample Test so you’ll understand the types of questions that will be asked on the assessment.
