IT: Enable or Disrupt a Business
IT has been experiencing multiple changes across decades and now we are in the middle of a digital revolution. Is this revolution different than the previous ones? What can we learn from the past that can help us now and in the near future?
During this interactive presentation Mo Gomes will provide a very brief historical perspective of the IT evolution and suggest how we IT / business professionals should position ourselves. Mo will also disclose what C-Level business people are saying they are aiming for, and we will discuss what else should be revealed. In other words; What is inside business top management head and can we decipher it?
To keep our “sanity” Mo will suggest that we focus in only two avenues; enabling the business and creating positive disruptions. And, why utilizing best practices is not the only answer.
Come and join Mo and the WISE event team in this intriguing topic. Increase your possibilities to influence the business with IT. Come and discuss how can you be influential to young IT women, as the career in IT is increasing in challenges and rewards.
