STEM EDA Teacher PD
March 12, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
STEM: Explore, Discover, Apply (STEM EDA) is a hands-on, project-driven
elective sequence for middle school grades 6-8. In STEM EDA, students
are engaged in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics,
allowing students to not only improve their problem-solving and critical
thinking skills but also develop invaluable competencies in leadership,
team-building, creativity, and communication.
Cyber concepts are infused throughout the STEM EDA modules as
students explore STEM concepts, fundamentals, and applications. As
they progress through the modules, the Engineering Design Process
guides students through the design and implementation of the hands-
on projects and concepts. Additionally, liberal arts disciplines provide
meaning and depth to the modules.
The CIC will be offering a STEM EDA professional development
workshop to middle school teachers in your area on the above
mentioned dates. Learn more at www.nicerc.org/curricula/stem-eda.
Note: No refunds for tickets within seven days of event
