Homeschool Field Trip – 3D Design Workshop – Open To All Homeschool Students

3D Design – 3rd – 8th Grades – Open to all Homeschoolers

 Students will learn the fundamentals of additive manufacturing, otherwise known as 3D Printing.  Students will design 3D objects using the TinkerCAD design environment while learning and applying geometry skills in:

• Creating simple objects from basic geometric shapes


• Moving and rotating objects in 3D


• Creating complex objects from sets of simple objects


• Copying object and mirroring them across lines of symmetry


• Extruding or stretching 2D objects to 3D
