Drone Technology Workshop for Parents, Students and Educators

At the completion of the workshop you will be able to explain the basic concepts related to:
- Identifying different field applications and benefits of drone technology
- Configuring drone functions through coding and programming
- Collecting, compiling, analyzing and integrating images, video and meta data stored on a drone
- Developing an understanding of drone cybersecurity risks and counter measures
- Securing STEM internships, jobs and scholarships in autonomous engineering
- Earning a FAA drone pilot license
- Integrating drone technology into an existing STEM curriculum to improve SC Palmetto Assessment EOCEP test proficiency
This informational workshop is best suited for individuals working in the following positions:
- School Leaders/principals
- Curriculum leaders and career counselors
- Science and math teachers
- Parents of students in grade 5 thru 12 that have an interest in UAV technologies
- College students majoring in a STEM field
