Look no further, IT-oLogy is currently running two workshops around the topics of diagnosing and troubleshooting computer issues as well as Hardware/Software Repair.
*1st Workshop, December 2: Hardware/Troubleshooting & Research- (3 Hours) This workshop will immerse the participant into the inner workings of a computer. The participants will be able to physically assess the components inside a computer to determine the underline root cause preventing the computer to not work properly. The participant will also be introduced to the 6 step troubleshooting process. The six step CompTIA A+ troubleshooting methodology:

Step One: Identify the problem.
Step Two: Establish a theory of probable cause.
Step Three: Test the theory to determine the cause.
Step Four: Verify full system functionality and, if applicable, implement preventative measures.
Step Six: Document findings, actions, and outcomes.

*2nd Workshop, December 16: Hardware/Software Repair- (3 Hours) This workshop is a continuation of the previous workshop. The students will use the PC analysis identified in the previous workshop to repair computers. With the assistance from mentors and an instructor, the students will replace the necessary components with brand new components provided by IT-oLogy.
*Please reserve December 30 as a make-up day in the event that training does not take place on December 2 or December 16.
