Network and Computer Systems Administrator

In this role, you’ll install, configure, and support an organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. You’ll monitor the network to ensure availability and perform necessary maintenance. You’ll assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. You may supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists and administer network security measures.

Salary range: $46,220 – $120,000

Network Technician

A network technician installs, maintains, and troubleshoots Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, and Data Communications equipment. You’ll also analyze and fix network-related problems reported by users. You’ll play an important role in the company’s use of networks in order to improve communication and collaboration inside and outside of the organization.

Salary range: $29,613 – $65,281
