Using the mBot, Sphero, and LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 robots, participants will focus on physical computing by bringing robotics projects to life using computer programming. The hands-on activities and challenges serve multi-purpose: introduce and reinforce STEAM concepts and their many applications and fundamentals learned in the classroom and building 21st Century Skills through:
- Project Base Learning
- Problem solving
- Cognitive, Language, Social and emotional development
- Critical thinking
Participants will work individually and in a group setting to create a final project that will be presented during the field excursion at IT-oLogy, June 9th, 2017.
